For those interested in teaching or deepening their knowledge of restorative practices.

Restorative Yoga is one of the most powerful tools you can add to your teaching repertoire and to your life for personal wellbeing.


You will learn invaluable and life-giving lessons that help induce relaxation and reduce stress for yourself and others. You might be a certified yoga teacher or health practitioner who wants to add a new modality to their skillset, or you are someone who wants to experience the profound effects of relaxation and learn how to regulate the nervous system.


No teaching experience required. This training is open to all with an interest in the practice of restoration and slowing things down.

- Pillars of Restorative Yoga
- Anatomy and health benefits of relaxation
- A better understanding of the nervous system
- Your brain on restorative practices
- Benefits and creative use of props 
- Basic restorative yoga postures
- Sequencing a basic restorative yoga class
- Differences between restorative and other relaxing practices
- Importance of communication 
- Activate your voice
- Energetics and holding space for others
- Daily practices (inc. restorative yoga, yoga nidra, meditation)
- Daily journaling and integration homework 
- Final project for certification
- All-new manual
- 30 CEUs and certificate

Lynette (BA in Communications, ERYT-500) is an intuitive teacher, mentor, leader, and learner who is both strong and calm and will always show up for you in a non-judgemental and authentic way. She is a mirror that will show you your own creative heart and passionate voice.


Lynette has been teaching yoga classes, workshops, retreats, festivals, mentorships, and trainings for over 15 years.

 

She did her foundational yoga trainings with Nicki Doane, Eddie Modestini, Judith Hanson Lasater, Bernie Clark, Tiffany Cruikshank, and Brenda Feuerstein. Lynette blends many modalities together including vinyasa yoga, yin, restorative, yoga nidra, Traditional Chinese Medicine, myofascial release, as well as communication, Golden Age Leadership Astrology, Reiki, and various other modalities to guide people home to themselves and to help people become the most aligned, authentic versions of themselves.
